It is essential that sellers create their offers under the correct product type to ensure a safe and buyer-friendly marketplace. Sellers who consistently create offers under the wrong product type may face warnings and risk account suspension.
Currently, PlayerAuctions has five major product types: Currency, Items, Accounts, Boosting and Top Up. Here are the definitions:
- Currency: the virtual money used within a game's economy, e.g., gold, coins, credits, platinum, etc.
- Item: any virtual goods that a player can use or equip within a game, e.g., weapons, armor, potions, cosmetic skins, etc.
- Account: a player's personal profile or subscription within a game or gaming platform.
- Boosting: a service where another player or a company plays on the buyer’s behalf to advance their character's level or status, or help them gain access to game content, or obtain an item or currency, e.g., boosting, leveling, carry, etc.
- Top Up: a service where seller provide direct replenishments or additions to a buyer's in-game balance, such as adding diamonds, gems, energy, credits, or other premium resources to their game account.
