Learn how to set up your PlayerAuctions API key. Follow our step-by-step guide to submit your application, configure IP whitelisting, and secure your secret key.
Request Access
1. Log in to your PlayerAuctions account and go directly to the API Management page .
2. Depending on your account status, proceed as follows:

New users: Submit your application directly on the page.

Existing users: Click the Apply for Scopes link to access the application page.
3. Enter a brief Application Reason explaining how you intend to use the API.
4. Select the desired scope(s) from the list and click SUBMIT APPLICATION.
5. Your request will be reviewed by the PlayerAuctions team.
Configure Settings
Once your application is approved, the configuration interface will become active:
- Select Scope: Select the granted API scope(s) from the list.
- Assign a Name: Enter a descriptive name for your key in the API Name field to help you identify it later.
- Whitelist IP Addresses: For enhanced security, you must input at least one Dedicated Egress IP address from which your API calls will originate. (e.g, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2)
- Generate Key: Click the "ADD API KEY" button to finalize the setup.
Secure Your Credentials
Important Security Warning: Your Secret Key will be displayed only once immediately after creation. For security reasons, it will be permanently removed when you refresh or leave the page.
- Copy and Save: Copy the key immediately.

Store Safely: Store it in a secure location (such as a password manager or encrypted file). If you lose it, you will need to delete the current key and generate a new one.
