What is Payment Verification?
To prevent payment fraud, we occasionally review individual orders to verify that you, the buyer, authorize the payment. Typically the order will be automatically passed within minutes. However, occasionally our Payments Compliance Team will need more information from you. "More information" might include a phone call (they will call you, and ask whether you have placed the order), a copy of a valid government issued ID (e.g. driver's license, passport), and/or a payment receipt.
How long will it take? When will the seller deliver?
It should take between 0 - 20 minutes.
Note: If the Compliance Team requires more information from you, your order will be held until you provide that information. Check your email and phone to see if they have contacted you.
If it has been more than 20 minutes since you placed your order, and the order status is still "Verifying Payment", with no contact from our Compliance Team, then you should:
1. Check your email to see if our Compliance Team contacted you, if not..
2. Sit tight, give it another 10 minutes. If still no change...
3. Cancel the order, and re-order.
4. If your next order goes into "Verifying Payment", or if you are unable to cancel the original order, then contact our Payments Risk Management Team , with the subject "Payment Review More Than 20 Minutes".
What if I don't want to send my government ID and other documents?
If we ask you for additional information to verify your identity, and you do not wish to provide this information, we offer direct bank transfer or western union as alternative means to complete your order. If you prefer to pay via these methods we recommend that you cancel your order and re-order again using Bank of America bank transfer, Western Union, or Skrill Instant Bank Transfer (European countries only).
