In general, After-Sale Protection provides extended access to our dispute center to offer extra protection against the rare event of a purchased game account being irrecoverably reclaimed or banned due to the actions of the previous owner.
In the rare event that such a case arises, the buyer has the option to raise a dispute within the after-sale protection period to report an issue. If the seller cannot reach a settlement with the buyer during the dispute, PlayerAuctions will work as a mediator and investigate the case. PlayerAuctions, as the arbitrator, will stay neutral during the investigation and make a final decision based on the evidence.
There are 2 types of After-Sale Protection on PlayerAuctions.com:
- Seller After-Sale Protection
- PlayerAuctions After-Sale Protection
Seller After-Sale Protection
The seller may choose to offer an after-sale protection (of 7, 14, or 30 days) as a warranty for the account when the seller creates the account offer. After the order is completed, disbursement is withheld by PlayerAuctions for the duration of the free after-sale protection period. If a buyer loses access during this time and the game account cannot be recovered, the disbursement held by PlayerAuctions will be cancelled and buyer will receive a full refund.
Important notes:
Seller After-Sale Protection cannot be cancelled after the buyer has paid for the account.
PlayerAuctions After-Sale Protection
Buyers who want an extra layer of security for their game account purchase may choose PlayerAuctions After-Sale Protection, which provides extended access to our dispute center for the rare event of the account being irrecoverably reclaimed or suspended due to the previous owner. In such a case, the buyer would need to raise a dispute within their protection period to report their game account issue. PlayerAuctions reserves the right to ask for reimbursement from the seller.
Please note that after-sale protection does not cover instances where:
- The Buyer is unable to provide evidence that the game account has been reclaimed by a previous owner.
- The game publisher has banned the account due to the Buyer’s actions.
- The game publisher has banned the account not due to the fault of the previous owner.
